PayUSA offers a couple of different online payroll options that can meet the needs of most companies with as many as 1,000 employees. Both their Online Employer and Payroll in a Flash programs offer flexibility, speed and accessibility that will be appreciated in the payroll process.
PayUSA’s pricing structure breaks out a couple of specific fees that are combined on most companies’ quotations. They charge $13.00 per payroll plus a variable per employee fee that decreases with larger numbers of employees. They separate a $10.00 per payroll charge for tax service. For our standardized comparison payroll that includes five employees paid bi-weekly, the monthly charge would come to $70.52. ($13.00 payroll service plus $9.55 total per employee fee plus $10.00 tax service = $32.55 per payroll. That yields the monthly $70.52 average).
PayUSA also charges $.26 per employee for direct deposit and $2.00 for each additional state in which an employer has employees. There is a base fee of $30.00 for annual W-2 processing plus $4.95 per W-2 and also a $2.65 fee for new employee reporting.
Set up of PayUSA’s payroll is very simple and their payroll consultants are most helpful in getting the process started. Thereafter, producing payroll is just a matter of entering data that has changed and approving the payroll. Everything is then immediately available online including live paychecks, if you choose. Payroll reports and check stubs are also immediately available.
PayUSA offers a complete set of standard payroll reports including cash analysis, deduction and tax liability reports. Clients can also specify over 100 other reports as necessary and a handy custom report writer function that allows for the creation of custom reports. Payroll information can be exported directly into QuickBooks and their web general ledger program will allow translation into other accounting software as well.
